I'm looking at setting up an MMS automation agent but found out that there is no download for windows. Is not it available for windows?

Right, the MMS automation agent is not available on Windows yet on a roadmap for future Windows version (Nothing is not solid at the time of writing it), but now if you want to use automation agent then you have to move.
