sharepoint - How to upload videos to Windows Media Services 2008 -

Long-term secrecy, first time the questioner-to-question

We have been running our SharePoint 2010 intranet company, and we want the ability to stream video locally. SP2010 is terrible for it.

I'm looking for a free download / addon for Windows Media Services 2008, Windows Server 2008.

I have Googled and Googled, but I just

How do you actually upload media in Media Media Services 2008?

Our IT department server (and it is even more complex due to being half-managed by the third party company). I have to know whether I will be able to upload media to WMS2008 on my network, like with URL, we can click on our computer and click instead of doing it on the actual server itself.

I know that it will look like a silly question, but I can not find the answer. Help me in StackHorflow, you are my only hope.

I'm not sure that you have already found the answer to this question, but I have video streaming I am also working on Windows Media Services (WMS) 2008 and got your question during Goggle. I have been using WMS to manage a video and view on a client machine.

I will briefly summarize it for you, in fact you have to enter your video file on the server, and then have to create a publication point in WMS (using the wizard or advanced mode) and use of the Windows Media Player Use the MMS URL to watch the video.

A guide to configuring and stream a video using WMS.

Please tell me if you want more information about it. Hope it helps.
