Get Eclipse to select a maven profile when deploying to tomcat -

Can anyone tell me how I can get my profile while running a web project from eclipse My latest attempt, which does not work (file-dev.xml is not parsed). I have a war project that has reliance on jar project. The Jar Project contains Vasant beans.

In the jar project's pom.xml:

  & lt; Profile & gt; & Lt; Profile & gt; & Lt; ID & gt; Dev & lt; / Id & gt; & Lt; Activation & gt; & Lt; ActiveByDefault & gt; True & lt; / ActiveByDefault & gt; & Lt; / Activation & gt; & Lt; Properties & gt; & Lt; Env & gt; Dev & lt; / Env & gt; & Lt; / Properties & gt; & Lt; / Profile & gt; & Lt; Profile & gt; & Lt; ID & gt; UAT & lt; / Id & gt; & Lt; Properties & gt; & Lt; Env & gt; UAT & lt; / Env & gt; & Lt; / Properties & gt; & Lt; / Profile & gt; & Lt; / Profile & gt;

In addition, I've added it to the Maven-Jar plugin.

  & lt; Import Resources = "file.xml" />

in file.xml

  & lt; Import Resources = "file-dev.xml" />

file- dev.xml

  & lt; Beans Profile = "Dev" & gt; & Lt; Bean id = "MyBen" & gt; Etc etc & lt; / MyBean & gt; & Lt; / Bean & gt;

Running mvn help: Active Profile "- Dev" returns

Is there a CMA missing? I have not tried to build or establish any Maven, I just want to work in the Dev environment, so we can first deploy and collide within the eclipse.

Thanks in advance
