c# - Visual Studio Project Reload Removes Added ProjectType GUID -
To add a GUID to all the Internet and even SO, type GUID project file project here The suggested loft menu options are missing to create a MVC controller. This is also not a available template while doing a simple "add item".
Here is the place on which SO is mentioned on SO:
So I add that GUID to the project that I reload, the Visual Studio automatically updates it without any notification Decides to remove It's just upset if MVC controllers do not have scaffolding, although I know I can manually build them. I do web API controllers as well as loft for MVC scenes. In the web project, I am using MVC 4 and Web API 2.2.
It is also being fully updated with Vs. 2012 on Web Tools 2013.1, as well as the fully updated VS 2013 However, GUID has added a partner VS2012 to add work and project to the project Reloading does not remove it.
The only thing I can think is that on my VS2012 I have MVC 5 and Web API 2.2 support installed (I'm thinking through Web Tools 2013.1) and It is causing some kind of compatibility problem with VS.
Why is this happening and how can I fix it?
Here are some .NET things that I have installed, but the screen capture is:
There is no need to add that project type GUID. This is only a workaround, but if you open a project on the machine for Web Tools 2013 to install ASP.NET and Visual Studio 2012, it will be automatically deleted.
So, to fix your machine, go to URL and make sure that you "ASP.Net and Web Tools 2013.1 Visual Studio 2012" and "ASP.Net and Web Framework 2013.1 - Visual Studio 2012 "Set in both.
After the installation, you should have both of your installed programs in the list:
