What is the equivalent of graniticon for rail?

While researching the fonts of SVG images for dynamic colored images, I think that trade dislikes fairly manage PNG with fallback.

But I am using ROR and this node. Based on JS, unless I say no wrong, it's not going to work for me.

Does anyone know of a similar type of service to handle dynamically customizable images in the train beautifully?

p.s I am currently using a font-based approach.
