Google Compute Engine gives error from when creating instance with existing boot and data disk -
I basically made an example with a stable boot and data disk. I want to test that something should happen with an event, I can rebuild one with the same boot and data disk and it will run normally.
However, when I create an example I am getting this error from the Developer Console:
Invalid Value for field 'resource. Disk [1] .source ':' site-data 'is a valid URL for the proper type of legitimate resource.
The only thing I'm doing differently is to set the boot disk to the previous site-boot disk, instead a new image, and read / write the site-data disk Attach to
I recommend that you try again - it seems that your web-based developer console It was broken for some time when you put your question. Now it is working correctly.
I also found this error, making an example with extra disk drive only boot drive works fine, but trying to make an example with any additional disk (including a new, empty disk) You got results in the same error raised above.
I used "requirement" to help? "To make a report of the problem yesterday (10/21/14) 'Create a new example', the lower left link of the web form. Not found (I have not paid for any support options), this issue was resolved within 24 hours. I am able to successfully create examples with additional additional discs.
